Alberta was bestowed with an honorary life membership in 1996 for her constant support of our organization. She was Past President of the Citizen's Hose Company. She was a Past President of the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary, Past President of the DelMarVa Ladies Auxiliary, and President Emeritus of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association. Alberta served on various committees throughout her years of service. She also served as "Mom" to many of the recruit classes of the Wilmington Fire Department during their time at the Delaware State Fire School.
